Her vision of creating an accessible professionally practitioner-run centre based upon the fundamental tenet of Chinese medicine which is about living in harmony with nature, bore fruit in 2009 when she conceived gestated and birthed House of Fertility & Healing. Here practitioners work cohesively, inter-referring amongst each other and to allied and also western medical professionals and hospitals, 7 days a week. Ngaio has devised a manual of the treatment protocols she has developed and refined over the years, these techniques are now utilized by all the practitioners at the House as part of their own busy practices, ensuring continuity of care between the different practitioners 7 days a week. Unique in nearly every way, in the 5 years since its inception ‘The House’ has established itself as one of Sydney’s premier Acupuncture & TCM centres for women’s health, pregnancy and fertility support.

A pragmatic intuitive, Ngaio encourages a participatory & collaborative healing process through which the health issues on hand become tools and opportunities for her patient to learn more about body/mind and how to proactively take better care & responsibility for oneself. She utilizes both Chinese (Acupuncture, cold laser, Chinese Herbal Medicine) and western medical models alongside dietary & lifestyle coaching (where necessary) to diagnose and address any issues that may be undermining the conception development and birth of a healthy baby, radiant mother.
